Behind the Story
Some time ago, my father passed away and wrote the Mindguard series. I wanted to pass that memory down to my son, so this game is based on the ritual a Mindguard from the series performed.
When a Mindguard became powerful enough, they could trap their essence into a blade in order to live on forever...The player, and the antagonists, are these Mindguard. Their blades scattered across the world.
MindCleaver is currently in Mid Alpha — a playable build is live on Steam. The game is built with Godot (C#) and targets a 2028 Q1 release.
